Thelma L. Smith of Trinity, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at the age of 73. She was born on Thursday, February 23, 1950 in Crockett, Texas to Cloyce and Dolly Guynes, both of whom have preceded her in death. Thelma is also preceded in death by her husband Billy Smith, brothers Tommy Guynes and Clifford Guynes, and sister Joyce Stanley. Left to cherish her memory are her sons David Joel Davis Jr., Cloyce Davis, and Jimmy Davis; daughters Thelma Duncan (Larry) and Sherry Davis; grandchildren Billy Duncan, Samantha Duncan, Amanda Duncan, Erin Majors (Lee), Cody Duncan, Chearie Duncan, and Coby Duncan; and 23 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
