Scotty Murphy

Scotty Murphy Sr. was a funny, hardworking, strong and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who entered into rest on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 64 years old. He took pride in everything he did, especially his family and helping out his friends. He was born in Baytown, Texas, on June 19, 1959 to Arthur Kelly Murphy Jr. and Faye Evelyn Bundy Murphy. In high school, Scotty enjoyed playing tennis, but as the years progressed, he developed a love for motorcycles, traveling in his motor home, and playing golf. Scotty married his wonderful wife, Teresa, on January 12, 1990, and together they gave their two children a beautiful childhood. Scotty is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Faye Murphy. Those left to cherish these precious memories are his loving wife, Teresa Murphy; his wonderful children, Scott Alan Murphy Jr. and Tisa Luann Murphy; grandchildren Cole Alan Murphy, Scott Alan Murphy III, Gracie Lynn Murphy, Zapphira Phaye Smith, Zeppelin Malcolm Murphy, and Zage Ray Murphy; brother, Ricky Dean Murphy and wife Amy, and sister Kim Murphy; along with a host of loving family and friends. Scotty will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
