Michael Dean Hunt

Michael Dean Hunt, 60, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020.  He was born on July 27, 1960 to Kenneth and Nadine Hunt in Independence, Kansas.  Michael (Mike) was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Nadine (Muller) Hunt, infant sister, Debra Hunt, and brother, Richard (Rick) Hunt.  He is survived by his father, Kenneth Hunt of Coffeyville, Kansas, brother Terry Hunt and wife Sue, of Palestine, Texas, and sister Tammy Patterson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews, and treasured friends.  Mike grew up in Independence and Coffeyville, Kansas and attended schools there, and made his way to Texas for a job relocation 25 years ago.  Mike loved a good joke or prank and had an infectious laugh. He will be very missed and remembered for his special love of his dogs and fixing up old cars. 

Cremation will be provided and due to the Covid situation, there will be no gatherings scheduled.
